After a multi-cycled bidding period our company signed contract with Ministry of Education in May, 2003 in which Sysman was charged with IT audit activity in the subject of ”Participation in the overall professional monitoring and IT audit of National Information Infrastructure Development Office.”
The goal of the project was the full revision of the Ministry’s paper-based document production
from logistics, security and operational costs point of view.
Sysman was mandated by Hungarian Power Companies Ltd. for the audit of the critical systems of Nuclear Power Station of Paks and for preparing a mid-term development conception of the Unix systems. Scope of the project: application assessment, identification of application modules, analysis of business requests and the workout of an error-proof architecture of good operability based on the assessments.
Billing Hardware Upgrade project. Planning and implementation of server, hardware and operating system upgrade project of the business critical billing system of Vodafone (Amdocs) and the coordination and support of the migration activities.
Oracle RAC/DataGuard configuration implementation giving the infrastructure of Voucher On-Line system of Vodafone.

During the analysis Sysman assessed firstly the national betting system’s central technical elements. The assessment affected the betting system’s main components (data storage subsystem, servers, backup and monitoring system). The attributes, configuration and performance data of betting system and its subsystems also were analyzed. We gave a forecast on the actual support possibility and lifecycle of each subsystem. Following that we prepared a risk analysis containing the risk regarding the extant architecture and the architecture changing. At the end of the project we gave a proposal for the schedule and content of infrastructure development.
